Every Year the City of Düsseldorf, holds the Japan-Day. They celebrate the japanese living in Düsseldorf, making it one of the largest Communities of Japanese outside of Japan.

And the people visit the city. From all over Germany Düsseldorf is the Partyplace for Anime and Manga Okatus, Japanophiles and fans of japanese music.

And even for buddhists from all over Germany, as the EKo House is one of the few buddhist temples outside of Japan that have a traditional japanese garden.
